New polish looks to lotus flower for inspiration

Nanotech WOW a polishing product released here by Helmar Distributors uses the Lotus Effect to protect a variety of vehicle finishes, according to a press release.The July  release stated that lotus flowers were observed because they have very high water repellence in their leaves This Lotus Effect is a physical-chemical phenomenon that can be emulated using physical-chemical variables.

Small nano particles, or polymers, are used in car and boat polishes and waxes today. The nano particles are so fine they bond to and penetrate any surface like no other products on the market. WOW uses this technology to provide surface protection in an environmentally friendly way.
