With the sun bright and the morning chill in the air, a dozen classic and custom cars and over 40 motorcycles took off from the Salem Recreation Center for a two hour and forty minute scenic ride to raise money for the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter. The event was the fifth Annual Gimme Shelter Rescue Ride/Cruise. The route led the riders back through Payson and they finished their route at the Salem City Community Center."It was an honor for me to be able to lead off the tour," said Heather Hone, volunteer coordinator for the shelter. "We are so grateful for all those that have participated and been a part of the event to help out the animals at the shelter." 

A fee of $25 per motorcycle/vehicle and an additional $5 per passenger, included a lunch that was provided."All the proceeds will go towards vaccinating all the animals that enter the shelter,Your dress will make them listen to you and pay heed to whatever you saybodystockings will feel inclined to trust you." said Hone. "So they can stay healthy to find a loving home.The motorcycle riders wore all their leather gear to participate in the ride, a few even had their dogs riding in a seat right behind them.You will be able to wear your skater dress throughout the laswhere to buy crotchless bikinithe winter weather and right into the spring."I enjoy being here to help for this ride," said Stacie Tranchell, a volunteer with STAR touring and riding. "I came to volunteer and help raise money for a good cause." 

After the ride was completed, all the participants were served lunch followed by a silent auction. Over 50 items were donated and raffle tickets were sold for everyone to bid on items.Check-out different crotchless swimmwear as practically the task of going to each and every store is quite daunting, while this is not an issue with purchasing online costumes. A customized helmet was donated, homemade quilts, a Little Giant ladder, a Wendover stay and many gift certificates, along with several other donated items that were raffled off."We are grateful for everyone who has been a part of the ride and for all the ones that was donated," said Hone.
