The Knights of Columbus councils of West Frankfort and Herrin recently teamed up to donate 144 new coats to Fowler-Bonan Foundation’s Clothes for Kids program. This is the second consecutive year that the KC has made such a donation. 

“(We) are thrilled to provide assistance to the Fowler-Bonan Foundation with our coats program,” said Erik Luckett with the Knights of Columbus. “We know the Fowler-Bonan Foundation has a network in place to ensure these coats get to the children who need them.” 

A non-profit organization, the foundation provides new clothing and shoes for underprivileged school children in Southern Illinois, assisting more than 300 children annually in 11 counties.
